Wednesday is Prescription Drop-Off Day at the Floyd County Sheriff Dept Lobby & Floyd County Health Dept Lobby. 

Drop off your expired or unused medications so they can be properly disposed of. Flushing old medications isn’t recommended as wastewater treatment plants can’t remove all of the compounds. The meds end up in our rivers where they’re consumed by fish and other wildlife – and may eventually end up back on our plates!
