The Southern Indiana Stormwater Advisory Committee sponsored the 2010 Stormwater Workshop, which focused on Post-Construction Stormwater Management. This workshop addressed how stormwater is required to be managed after construction is completed for new developments and redevelopment projects that disturb more than one (1) acre in Southern Indiana. Workshop topics included post-construction requirements, regulations and ordinances, best management practices for post-construction and long term maintenance and operation agreements. Those in attendance included stormwater coordinators, urban conservation specialists, municipal employees, developers and contractors, as well as entities that have been or will be required to sign a Post-Construction Long Term Maintenance and Operation Agreement. Such entities could include homeowners associations, apartment complex management and business owners.
